I think if its anything over 30kgs loaded (ie with payload) then you need CAA aproval (certainly thats how it works with model aircraft.)
Although yoou hardly can go further then two yards with it. Id like to see it travel higher and sustain flight but think a parachute is essential.

Well noticed.....but not for the reasons you have in mind I think.
The rotors don't need to be turned when starting the engines.
I'm having problems with finding a car starter motor that turns CCW (counter clock wise) when facing the output shaft.
I've tried to let the starter motor I have (old Audi diesel starter motor) turn in the reversed direction but this seems impossible.

Considering many honda engines turn the 'wrong' way I'd have a look at their starters to see if they spin that way.

Honda starter?? Up until the newer ones, hondas turned the other way to the rest so you should be ok with a honda starter, or one form a
"normal" engine that faces from the opposite way to your audi one i.e. if the audi is from the engine side then you need one from the
gearbox side.
