Advice welcome
I'm in the process of sorting out my recently departed dads stuff with my mom and we've come across a bottle of whisky. 1966 Speymalt
(Macallan Distillery) On the net it's £170 new. I was wondering the best way to get a few quid for my mom "I hate whiskey".
I think that ebay is out of the question here.
I just wondered if any one on here has any ideas.

On a serious note, try and find a Whisky forum or similar and offer it for sale. You never know there may be someone local willing to pay good money.
Retailers will no doubt get such bottles far cheaper but may be willing to take it off your hands for a fair trade price. I suspect it will be a
select market so its a case of tapping into whisky clubs etc.

I know a Nigerian whiskey connoisseur who will happily pay £ 350 million pounds.

LOL, as much as five pounds eh!!!!
I thought that ebay was a no go for alcohol etc. The more I get the better it all for my mom. I'll try the forum though.
Cheers

I'd try to advertise it Stateside. The yanks seem to go mad for anything with some history and snob value. Guess it's due to having little
of their own.
Tell them about the bent treacle edges!
