Digi camera problems

Evening all,

Over the christmas period i took lots of pictures of the family. Yesterday i went to download them but the computer crashed (typical windows!)

When i restarted and checked the memory card it said the files were currupt, the same message was displayed then the card was reinserted in the digi camera.

I remember a similar problem happening a few years back and i used a program to recover the pictures, it was called "image recovery" by lexar.

Does anyone have a copy as i've changed computers and no longer have it installed on my machine? or a full version of something similar?

Any help or advice would be useful!

Chris

If that doesn't work

try here .I've used it on cards in a card reader recognised as a removable drive.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

had a couple of goes at recovering the data but so far all attempts have failed.

All starts well and about 50 files are found and all of a sudden the program locks up, the transfer light goes out and the system does not recognize the memory card. I have used two programs so far and both have the same outcome!

Any more ideas?
