Acewell a bad bet??
Not that I'm one to complain about a company...
But I have got absolutely nowhere with getting hold of my AceWell Speedo from www.acewell-meter.co.uk
I tried phoning, tried e-mailing and repeatedly checked my account.
Its always still pending since the beginning of December.
The number I have been phoning is
0191 640 8663 which I either get a no line tone or if it rings no one picks it up.
The one time I did get through (ages ago) the bloke at to other end said he had a stock of 60 come in and that it would be sent immediately. Nether
the less I have received zip.
Its up to yourselves if you want to order from them but me if I ever get in touch with this crowd I'm go to cancel my order and tell them what I
think of their service.

Don't know if it's any use but I've dealt with ETB several times and always had good service from them.
I even told them my ratios etc. and they told me the exact number to plug into my speedo to get the correct speed for SVA.

i got my acewell from the guy you are trying to buy from, it took about 3 weeks and he was a sod to get in contact with, happy with the product tho
when it finally made it to my door!

Got rid of my acewell when a Veypor V2 turned up on ebay for £150 in the box.
Had to buy the bright6 for the warning lights but the v2 has more functions.

try craig at quadtech his mobile is 07866 478455 i phoned him twice and got through both times he is very helpful if you speak to him today he should
have one out to you by next week

well I still have not managed to get through to anyone and have rang both numbers several times.
My order has still not changed from pending on their site.
I'm not happy

Scott,
I managed to get a call answered (by Craig) earlier today - he say's that mine was sent out Dec 19 but Royal Mail have no record of
delivery of the item, and he's going to send out a replacement - we shall see. I'll let you know if it arrives....

Just to update on this, the replacement supposedly sent out by Craig (of Quadtech, aka Acewell-meter) failed to arrive. When I contacted him over this
he claimed he must have been sending them to the wrong address, and promised to send a further replacement. The following day (and I must admit, much
to my surprise) this arrived.
So, after several weeks and many phone calls (to someone who can be very difficult to contact at times..) I've finally got my unit. Like Macnab
I won't tell you where to take your business, but mine will be going elsewhere in future.
