Toyota 4 Age

Hi All,

Has anybody thought of using the Toyota 4 Age Engine. Can it be done? Heard it Revs like mad and is 30Kgs lighter than a Pinto and 130Bhp but smoother than a bike Engine??

Any MK Builders or Drivers Near Cirencester/Swindon??

Corolla GT and GTi. In RWD and FWD depending on year, both N/A. Also came in the mk1 mr2 in N/A and supercharged versions. There were others i think but those are the main ones.

The 3SGE and 3SGTE will probably be a bit of a squeeze to get in. Would make an awesome car if you could fit it in.

I have seen a 3SGTE engine, from an MR2 mk2, squeezed into the back of an MR2 mk1. Had to mod the rear of the engine bay a touch.

If you've got one, or find one for not too much money I'd give it a go. Not sure what box you'd need for RWD, but I know poeple powering up Supra's in a big way prefer to swap out the V6 in favour of the four pot 3SGTE - its lighter and is easier tuned to higher power.

Look at Rob Lanes site as Bob has said, also Raw Engineering and Eddy mcClements site.
I'm almost finished my car but work is taking all of my time up at the moment.

The missus is not impressed with me working 65-70 hours a week and then sleeping the rest of the time, she cant understand why i'm knackered!
Hope to cut my hours down soon and get my Indy finished.
Best wishes Dean...............
