R1 Clutch
Before I pull the clutch cover off again. Is is possible to rotate the clutch lever arm about 90deg so that it's pretty much a straight cable
run to the clutch pedal?
Anyone tried?, Any problems ?

I think you can just pull off the circlip & have the arm on any of the splines. The wee exterior return spring might not do much any more (like
mine doesn't....)

If you remove the clutch cover (certainly on early R1s) the clutch arm is attached to a pinion. A small rack pulls the clutch plates apart. There is
no reason why you cannot rotate the arm to any position you like, however as has been mentioned, the return spring probably won't be engaged if
you do.
What are you thinking of doing? Using a rod to connect the pedal to the clutch lever?

Same here, rotated mine similar to what Rich Miles did on his Striker install

Have you guys just done away with the spring then?
(Was actually pondering this myself yesterday.)

Rotated mine and wound the spring up a bit more so it still works!
