Sean, does it have a single or double mount on the exhaust side of the engine?

Sean, best bet would be to give Kawasaki UK a call. Quote the engine number and they'll tell you exactly what year it is.

Unless I am very much mistaken, that looks like a 2000 ZX12R A1...

I think after that, the front engine mounts were directly above the middle 2 cylinders...

If I am right, then you should seriously think about checking the clutch..

The 2000 model had a serious flaw in the clutch design that caused it to under lubricate, cooking the plates and then going into self destruct mode..

There is an extensive list of changes including basket, inner drum, sleeve, shim and also springs I think..

Mine cost me best part of £500 to change, as I couldnt wait to get a whole clutch back from Muzzy's in the US.

If I had time I would buy the muzzy's kit as it is proven and a LOT stronger.. Assuming you include the billet clutch basket..

Dollar is very weak at the moment, so unless you are ona very tight budget, well worth looking at!
