possible causes

developed a very noticable flat spot stutter at around 3000 to 3500 rpm ,revs cleanly before aqnd after this rev range
its dellortos on a 1800 vauxhall ohc
ps happened after giving it some right foot i had also turned fuel reg down previously up to this happening and have reset it to 2.5 psi
