Mapping

Am thinking about changing my webbers for gsxr 1000 throttle bodies.

My question is: how well can you map the ignition yourself or is a rolling road session a must?

I am thinking that the chances of someone out there having an emerald map for GSXR 1000 bodies on a pinto are quite slim.

Thanks for the help

Rupert

You could start at least from a pinto map suited for something like Jenveys and rescale the injection in the software to suit the GSXR injector flow rate. From there you could have it mapped properly.

Wow! I read some of the stuff at that link, and it gave me a headache & my eyes went funny. It's either written in Sanskrit or Attic Greek, or I'm just waaayyy out of touch with the current electro-speak. Soooo...it's Webers and a simple ignition for my Zetec!
