Another Stoneleigh show question
All,
I've not been to the Stoneleigh Kit Car show before. Would this be a good place to source alloys and sticky tyres at good prices?
Is there lots of trade stands or is it more of a manufacturers show with little to buy???
Thanks
MOz

yes take a few spanners and a few mates to hide you and make sure you nick them from the carerham owners club cars, if you have a look around you
should find some nice ones.

Funny, but not helpful...... I don't have any friends!
Will there be loads of trade stands (especially wheel and tyre suppliers) or will it be like the motorshow (ie devoid of decent trade stands?????)
Anyone?

Previous experience has shown:
Loads of kit makers/suppliers,
Many parts suppliers (electrical/trim/fasteners, etc.),
Many tools suppliers, from good'uns to cr*p,
One or two suppliers of wheels, but not the big names (usually special offers, end-of-line, etc.),
A fair amount of miscellaneous car-related stuff,
Far too many suppliers of tat (jewellery, cleaning cloths, miracle cures, etc.)
Expect to spend a couple of hours touring the whole thing, plus a few more for looking at owners' cars, plus one or two for queueing for bits
you actually want to buy! The stands will be BUSY (but very useful being able to see the items, prices are often less than usual, and no postage to
pay).
HTH,
David

It's not somewhere I would look for wheels and tyres unless you want some cheapie (and probably heavy) ones.
