Diff problems?

Just jacked the rear of the car to check the diff, turned one of the rear wheels and the opposite side never moved..

swap sides and turned the non moving wheel (not tight or Stiff) and the opposite turned the opposite way slowly... and not consistent... is this normal.. or should i prepare a spare....

Well if you're turning a wheel then either the other side wheel or the propshaft has to turn too or something is badly broken!

You'll probably find its just spinning the prop rather than driving across the diff. Shove it in gear and try again!
