new shocks
Hi Guys
i have a '98 fisher fury with spax shocks. i want to stiffen the ride up but the shocks are not adjustable (or seized) what is the best and
cheapest way to replace shocks?? Gaz??
Also would it be worth looking at second hand?

Well if your looking for "shocks" I suppose the electrics section is as good as any! .Sorry couldn't resist it

Well, the CHEAPEST (and truly Locost) way would be to drill them, drain the lightweight oil, fill with heavier oil, and seal the holes. My buddy was
trying to find shocks for his Rover V8 car (so rare here that they can't be found), and I suggested this to him (used to do this on weak
motorcycle shocks years ago). He drained them, found them to have very little oil (thin, & contaminated with water, too). He filled them with
heavier oil, made plugs for the holes to keep the oil in, and voila! Now it feels like it's got a brand new set of Konis in it! No leakage
from the shocks, firm smooth ride, etc. Now THAT'S Locost!!!
