rear shock dimension details

building a locost chassis and using dion axle.

anyone know the size of rear shock absorbers fully open and closed plus spring rating please.

It depends where your shock mounts are. Set it all up with the trailing arms parallel to the ground, then measure the distance between the centres of the mounting holes. Add half your shock travel, say 1.5 inches for open size and minus 1.5 inches for closed size. This assumes nothing else prevents this much movement of the suspension.

Mine are 180 lb on a live axle but are probably a little hard.
