Shell Advert
Reportedly the most expensive advert of all time

Absolutely love the sounds of them engines revving away as the cars change. All except the formula 1 car. Never really took to that noise, think it
reminds me of a hammer drill too much!

I'd love one of those 60's / 70's cars for the road ......

Surely they're all F1 cars ?
Gotta say I agree, the modern ones are soulless, they sound too much like bikes to me, the 50's-60's machines are the dogs, the bit where
the car kisses the kerb/wall send shivers down my spine

Love is like a snowmobile, speeding across the frozen tundra.
Which suddenly flips, pinning you underneath.
At night the ice-weasels come...

Nice stuff, mabye takes it's inspiration from the clever VW ad where the guy sets off in a mk1 Golf GTi to view a car & every time the scene
changes the car becomes the next generation on. When he gets to his destination the car he's gone to look at is the mk1 he set off in.
I liked the Honda one with the scooter, bike, car etc that worked the same way.

Great ad, I could listen to that on loop all day long. Same with the Honda Impossible Dream ad as
hillbillyracer said. Every time the old F1 car opens up it makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up!
