good morning

somebody can tell me where is it possible to buy a spaceframe of locost and what is the price please.
I am in France, and the " sva" les mines pour nous are very exacting

Luego Locost Chassis

Hi Steve, we can do you a chassis for the Locost. A fully bracketed chassis with steel floor, road roll bar, 4 point harness bar will cost £691.49 this includes VAT.

If you would like the chassis Powder Coated it is £100 Inc VAT.

Best regards The Luego Team.

try luego sports cars??
click on the pretty car at the top of the page.

MK engineering appear to have a good rep. don't know if they do just a frame (guess: yes) contact details anyone?

Search on ebay.

lolocost do them quite cheaply (apparently).

Cheers...
Greg H

sod it. search the forum on lolocost before you buy anything from them.

In the interests of maintaining an even-handed viewpoint , you can also get spaceframes from MK and ST.

All 3 sources are of high quality - which one you choose is a matter of price, availability, convenience and the quality of customer support.

David

Important note: this is not a dig at Luego - I admire their opportunistic sales technique...

Just for info..MK don't manufacture the Locost Chassis any more, only the MK Indy (single donor)

I have seen a Luego Chassis close up. Very good build quality and very nicely finished (made me sick cause I'm building my own)

Good luck

all the bought chassis look great that I have seen cos they are made by professionals with proper workshops.

I felt the same as you, cos im in a crappy garage with little equipment. Still, what I have is up to the job even tho ist not a work or art like an MK.

Whatever you do, DON'T buy a Lolocost one unless you want to spend a lot of time correcting things...I know, I was that soldier .

Thanks...
I'm glad I took the decision to build it...
I would recommend it to anyone thinking of starting off, but, only if they have the patience.
The guy with the luego one had everything in boxes, ready to bolt on. But his build wasn't problem free either.
