If it's hand-formed then fair enough- it's a fair few man hours in there.... but why bother!!! You could get an equally light carbon fibre
nosecone for less and do something like a dry sump (ie something that made more power) with the change!!!!

I'm guessing that's an Axminster Panels job. If so, then it will be Very VERY nice workmanship and will have taken Mr Wiltshire quite
some time to make.
Definately a part for someone who is restoring an original Lotus 7. IMHO if you're in the market for one of these, then that price is a
bargain.

It wouldn't fit a locost without a lot of modification either.

It is expensive but it is a beautiful piece of work.
How did they do the front opening and lip? Is that all one piece?
How does a carbon fibre nose cone compare in pirce? (and weight?)

A carbon fibre nose cone from Fluke will set you back
£395 and weighs 1.8kg (personally I'd rather have the CF one).
