great vid!

Shame about the bonnet! your avitar looks like something out of "Final Destination" now!

Personally I love external shots that can really show the speed and agility of 7's, but thats just me I guess

I'd be worried about your oil pressure a bit, on some bends it regularly drops to around 40psi...is that safe?

Really good video Si... I too like the external camera's, surprised they lasted in the direct line of fire behind the front tyre.

Interesting choice of camera angles... must have took ages to compile and edit, but it was worth it eh?

Looks like it was a pretty quiet day on track with few hold up's for traffic and breakdowns etc...

Just go's to show how a 'blade engine can compete with an Elise - especially on that track - it seems to be made for se7en's!!!

Brilliant!

Steve

Is 40psi too low? To be honest I was more worried about it being too high in parts, around 100psi at times! Nothing's gone pop yet though in several track days Would be interested to compare against anyone elses data logs for similar engine though.

Took a couple of late evenings to edit, but I think it's worth chopping together a few different things to keep it more interesting - 10 minutes from just the rollbar would probably test a lot of viewers boredom

The Elise actually had an Audi 1.8 Turbo lump in from Audi TT so was pretty quick in a straight line (was pulling away from me on the straight the lap before), but if course the corners are a different story

I have no idea, I just know that if it dips in the corners then thats not right.

Perhaps I'm not right - I just noticed it and thought I'd mention it.

Anyone know????

That was the first time I'd consistently got heel-and-toe working throughout a whole track day. Up to now it's been hit-and-miss, mainly because I always wanted to full-foot the brake through fear of missing Feels loads better when it works though.

Bonnet survived, chipped front and back but I'm hoping some u-trim can hide that
