Progress-

AT LAST! seems like ages since collecting kit (late Feb),
but finally fitted main bodywork today. It is now starting to
look like a car. Still lots to do, but starting suspension
this week. Should be on the ground by end of month.

Hi George

Took delivery of mine in July.
Got it sat on it's wheels yesterday.
Had a few problems with parts but all resolved now. I planned on having it done it 3 months but the parts problems have delayed things.
I'm putting a 5PW in mine as well.

unfortunately i work 5 1/2 days a week
and usually get home around 7 ish.
By the time i've eaten i don't feel like doing
much. Car is mainly done on Sundays.
At least it is getting built, be well worth it
when it's finished.
Have you used the MNR loom, if so, how
have you got on joining to the bike loom?
Have you removed any wiring from the bike
loom?

I know what you mean - work does get the way !
Yes, i got the MNR loom, I've got the bike loom seperate - this is the only part of the build I'm out sourcing. I don't know enough about vehicle electrics to start splicing looms. I want it to start 1st turn - not set on fire !
I'd post some pics, but I don't how to get them on here either.

Hope to start on bike loom next week. I'm
going to label all the connectors, and then
see what i can remove. It's only bits of wire
what colour did you go for?
good luck!

It's good to see people building such nice MNRs!

Mine's coming on a treat now that I've given it to someone who knows what they're doing!

Hmm, progress on mine has stopped!

Run out of bits to fit. However it does run and I have driven it, even if its just up the drive... it drives!!

My attention is now being forced onto my new project.. a 2 stroke scooter, got one today off ebay and I'm looking forward to tuning it into a race scooter.... Oh, I just love 2 strokes....

yes i must say the wiring is a fun part, especially as i had 7 guages to wire up- now i know why you get a auto elec in to finish you kits for you...cause once you get distracted you have to start over again!
