Need help with handbrake cable

im at the stage where my brakes are all done but i want to get the handbrake cable in to finish the job but i dont know where to start, i have a ford mexico rear axle and another ford handbrake? can i get one made or is there on that might nearly fit??

You could speak to Speedycables- they'll make one up. It looks like you'll needs some kind of bracket near the rear axle to hold the outer of the handbrake cable....

IIRC Escorts had a rod to one side backplate lever from a flexible bracket connected to the cable.. It may be possible to adapt something like a pair of Allegro cables?
