After months of picking my a$$
Its taking shape. Lots of body work and mounting issues but I like the look so far.
I think I may need to add an inch or so to the fender lip to bring it in closer to the tire though.
Its snowing out too much to push the car out for a decent picture .

Looks wicked Dale.
Very inspiring. I'm currently thinking of making all the body for my book+4+1 chassis out of fibreglass so its very encouraging to see some
remarkable results.
Cheers,

I don't know about adding a lip Dale why not consider fitting spats ? That would be very consistent with the retro style you are developing
here and I think it would look way cool.

Thanks for the comments.
Sorry but I have no idea what spats are unless your a member of the village people?
A little searching and I think the Canadian term is fender/ wheel skirts.

I just strapped on a piece of cardboard and took a look- It does not suit, which rather suprised me as I liked the idea. I think it looks good on
the cars that slope toward the back like the xk. Mine slopes up at the back and just looked awkard. When I can get it out of the garage I will try
them again but we got about 8 inches of snow today and last night so thats not going to happen now.
Thanks for the input.
