How do i wire my fuelsender
Hi,
I mounted a fuelsender and a standard fuelmeter from MK but it doen't seem to work.
Is there something i forgot.

normally there will be two connections on the sender, one will be earth and the other is the feed to the gauge. On the back of the gauge there will be
a switched 12v connection, an earth connection and the sender connection. There may also be another 2 connections if it is backlit these will be the
supply from the instrument lights and another earth.
Do you have a diagram or are there any markings next to the terminals on the gauge?.

If it's a unit designed for installation into a metal tank (which would obviously be earthed to avoid sparks etc) then the fuel sender may just
have one connector on it.

Thanks for the advice, there were 3 more connetions on it, i thought i only hed to wire the red and black wire to connect it.
It know works.

Other than you normally use a gasket between the sender and tank aas well as some form of vibration insulation between the tank and chassis which is
most likely also powder coated/painted, I would run an earth from the sender to the chassis.
