fuel filler hose

quick Q re the hose you get to run from the filler cap to the tank.

Im looking at fitting this tank:

Now the filler end is ok as the hose goes over the filler housing but at the tank end if I put the hose over the tank inlet pipe then will petrol seep over the sides of the pipe?

or is this not really a problem? I presume a big jubilee clip is whats used to secure the filler pipe onto the pipe tank?

cheers all
