which air cooled bec engine?

not planning to go bec but just wondering.

if one was to fit an older air-cooled bike engine, which one gave the most power/torque? and how much weight saving would there by not having a radiator and associated cooling gubbins?

I can testify to the fearsome raw power of my Honda 125 could pull the skin off a very small rice pudding in ANY gear so long as it's first

Its got to be a gsxr 1100 or 1200 bandit oil cooled motor, renowned for being unbreakable

Maybe something like an FJ1200 or an older GSXR1100 - the earlier engines were oil cooled, is that allowed?

FJ1200 engines are used in a car racing series in USA I think.

The Yamaha FJ1200 engine is used in the "Legends" race cars and they're 1325lbs inc driver.

Something like a Moto Guzzi V-twin would be interesting. Designed for military tractors before they started putting them in bikes so probably not fast enough for you guys but shaft drive and around 70 bhp.

I've ridden a bored out (to a mind-blowing 150cc) one of these with a sidecar fitted. Don't know how fast it was in a straight line cos i couldn't get it to go in one.
