tyre sizes on 13 inch wheels
I was initially going to run on maxxsports in a 185/55 because they are cheap and sticky, followed by R888s in 185/60.
I am aware some people run different sizes front and rear?
Secondhand slicks appear to be readily available in 8 inch widths, but surely this is too much for the front of such a light car and they wont get up
tp temperature?
The reason I ask is fr selection of wheel widths, if 185 is the mininum on the rear then 7-8 inches is the way to go and if it is the max on the front
and narrower slicks are readily available then 6s would do on the front?
cheers

Having different widths on the front and rear complicates life unnecessarily.

I can't think of anything that would make a car more fun to drive than having every wheel a different size, what a laugh it would be

I once owned a car so equipped. And one of the tires was a snow tire as well.....

So you all suggest running a single tyre size front and rear despite not carrying a spare?
What would you suggest?
Are slicks readily available in less than 8 inch widths ?
