Oh Please!
are they really trying to say those pathetic little 'wings' on the side of the nose make a difference to a car that is as aerodynamic as a
housebrick? It even still has outboard suspension!

Of course the little winglets increase downforce... it also increase drag by the same proportion probably by 0.001% at a guess! Only Cateringvan
drivers will notice it though

Cateringvan drivers are starting to annoy me. Mate has newish one with the 1.8 from the MG and thinks it's the BEST car in the world. I keep
telling him he's been ripped off as it still has outboard sus and prob de-dion at back and could of made a blinding kit from the likes of MNR
for half the price which would pummel it into the ground with its inboard sus, irs and tubular chassis. He also thinks it an F1 beater with its heavy
leather seat, interior, heating system, weather gear, spare wheel, screen and wipers. He does drive a TT though...figures.

you know, you're all right.........
except for one thing, i still think Caterham make the best looking cars - hence i like the aries / Stuart Taylor car so much. The proportions are just
'right' in my eyes.
If i was rich enough not to care about the money, i'd have a caterham.
I may be a sad, silly stupid fool with too much money, but i'd be happy.

To be fair - I think they're the dogs danglies. If money was no object, I'd have one at the drop of a hat. All that breeding and history
doesn't account for nothing. Maybe some of the owners are a bit anal, but does that detract from the car? Not in my eyes....

Something like a MNR RT Super with the same lump in the front would do exactly the same if not better for 1/4 the price!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The winglets are not to provide down force, they are to scoop air over the suspension components to reduce drag. some tin tops have them to scoop air
over front wheel arches. The Brabus Smart Roadster has them too.

Of course they'll work. The question is, will you notice?
