put a carb inlet manifold and carb on,get a fuel pump and push rod,job done.
the bottom of the inlet ports are a bit close to the outside of the gasket but it never caused me a problem
who cares who wins

What he said, no hassle at all, infact probably easier for your build in the long run

I would suggest Bike carbs for improved performance

Erm not wanting to pi** in anyone chips and all but.....
you might find that a manifold for a set of carb's may or may not fit on to the injection head as the inlet manifold's for carb and
injection are different, also the injection head has extra pockets cut into it for the injectors fuel spray from the manifold.

agreed, just seen more than a few having "almost untraceable" air leaks after having this conversion done (I think it depends on the brand
of gasket you use)

I'm on the look out for a cheap Sierra Pinto EFI intake manifold (complete) to butcher up if your's is surplus to requirements.

Arent the injection Pinto's all those with the sought after 205 block's?? I just fitted a 205 Pinto with twin Weber's but as above
i'd definately go for the bike carbs with a suitable manifold.
Ryland06, have a look on the side of the block on the exhaust manifold side - there should be a number cast into the block - 16, 20, 205 etc.

that would cure it right enough, i just didnt want the o/p thinking it was all plain sailing when issues can occur

Use a cheap pattern carb gasket and it is usually ok. the real ford gaskets are a bit thin in the top area.
