Spinning my front wheels whilst up on axle stands...

I've just fitted my new Wilwood Powerlite calipers and Rally Design discs but noticed once I'd put the wheels back on and tightened them up, the front left disc grates against the pads for part of the rotation.

I've not bled the system or driven the car yet but this takes me back to childhood days when I had a buckled wheel on my bike.

Is this normal?

Cheers

Grit on the back of the disk so it doesn't sit flush on the hub?
Slight high spot on the disks?

You didn't paint the hub/disk mating surface? A lot seem to but this could leed to the disk/wheel not runing true etc etc..

When I did mine a little while ago, that happened. I pulled it apart, rotated the disk one bolt further round on the hub and so on till I found the best spot.

There's a maximum runout allowable - you'll probably find it on the Willwood site - but if you don't sort it, they'll judder like mad.

Some run out is normal but try as rick q suggests if it still dosen't seem right send them back in a package clearly marked snake oil.
