another one lives !!

well, its finally happened - we've started the engine !!

may not be a major think but considering we've never heard or had the engine running (been sitting there for two years), nor the carbs (they came from someone else), had to strip down and rebuild the dissy and with our own fuel lines, electrics etc .......... it started trying to fire on first push of button, tweaked the timing slightly and there she goes !!!

as happy as a pig in sh*t !!

Well done Fella!

Feels good doesn't it?

I hope you started it without an exhaust fitted for extra effect...

The sound of a V8 always puts a smile on my face. Esp when its reving 5000+

Next big step is to drive it out of the shed.

Hope to see it next year at Stoneleigh.

Paul
