If you know the RAL code of your gelcoat, you should be able to get yellow paint to match your body....

Getting an aerosol of the right yellow shouldnt' be that expensive, and if it doesn't look right, you could still spray it black...

only (constructive) criticism I would make is that they look like they're pointing down (forming an inverted "V" but that could be a trick of the camera.

yupsz.. thats well spotted...

the inner holes are 2,5mm higher... then the outer ones...

i'm thinking that i might put the brake and pos on the inner holes and the indicators and fog on the outer ones...

better???

anyway it was a difficult task with the fiat rear light clusters.....

That would probably help - I'm not sure the indicators would pass SVA in their current location.

Think the inverted "V" is emphasized by the lower edges of the arches, though - doubt it would be noticable if the lower edges were level.

Nice work, though

The lenght of the complete cluster is 255mm...

the rule is 350mm so i hope they do..

Luego melon yellow is RAL 1028, i got a half litre can mixed up at the local paint suppliers for doing some of the donor bits to match my Melon yellow bodywork, its a pretty spot on match and for a few pounds more, they will also mix up aerosol cans if you need them.

Im going to mix it to use in the compressor but thought afterwards that i should have got one aerosol made up from the batch just for those touch up jobs..

I like the shape and think that yellow would be best?? It be v cool if you could use filler to blend them into your arches though might be difficult to paint. Just a thought but maybe the indicators would look better on the outside??

I am planning to make up a mount similar to yours, but I am going to GRP it all togehter before spraying the whole lot. I like my lights, but they would stick through far too far into the wheel arch if surface mounted. Your solution looks very neat. Thumbs up from me!
