Digital Signatures

Hi all

Is anybody using digital signatures to sign off documents like pdf file's. What
are your recommendations and are there any ways of doing this for free. It must
be easy as we have some very obstructive people who will find ways to complain
and not help us out.

Cheers Carl

we still use actual signatures for all major documents at work, as it means you had to physically see the document, legally binding and alike, and we are a very big OEM

We've looked at this too, but not found a solution yet. Hence we still have a lot of paperwork. We're a smallish (60 people) electronics company.

One idea that seemed obvious to me was to use biometric readers - probably fingerprint scanners - to authenticate the digital signature.
