exhaust wrap

i'm about to buy some exhaust wrap.
i just wondered if there were particular kimds i should look for/avoid, or if its all pretty much the same.

I' bought a 30meter rolls of ebay for at £15, very nice stuff. deffinately works.

Tip for installation, is make it soaking wet, as it dries it shrinks slightly, just like wet rope..and alot nicer to handle.

I ended up wrapping my manifold in 1', foot, sections, simply it was easiler than feeding meters of wrap through the manifold back and forth..!





RobinHood 2B 2.0i pinto, Keihin 38mm Carbs, lightened flywheel, O'Mori remote filter kit, 10 row oil cooler. Modified head, 10.2cr, special valves FR22 cam, 4- 1 header.

I got mine from Merlin motorsports. Cheap and easily did four headers.

Still love the smell it gives off!!!

Be careful that the wrap doesn't end in line with the grp panel where the exhaust exits as it will be doubly hot there and could melt the side panel.
