Parking Ticket

Managed to get a parking ticket while I was on holiday in Devon and managed to forget all about it until I've got to pay the full amount £70 ! But looking at the ticket it says the location is Unknown 4. Has anybody argued the toss over such an appeal and won ?

Doesn't the cost go up the longer you delay...

Personally I would ask them to provide the details of where you were parked at the time and their evidence of the overstay, with any luck they won't be able to and cancel the ticket.

As you have to pay the full amount anyway now you have nothing to lose by appealing it. And if you wait until the last day to respond to all the letters you should be able to drag it out and not pay for 6 months even if you lose.

Is it a council parking ticket? A private ticket? What does it say you did?

It may well be that you can ignore it
