Unfinished project..

NTDWM but there is an unfinished book locost going near me. The owner has emigrated and left his none to pleased dad to sell it!

Its a BYOSCF250 locost with a ZZR1100 motor. There is a massive amount of parts that have been pulled together.

Short list:

Locost chassis, welded up by local fabrication firm.
Body work inc SS scuttle and bonnet
ZZR100 engine using original bike rad and oil cooler. Installed and connect to live axle with two piece prop.

There are 4 boxes full of new stuff, VDO gauges , Sabelt harness, Baby Cub seats, lights, shocks, hoses for fule brakes etc etc...

Full set of reciepts totally over 100% more than the asking price of £1500. NO OFFERS.

£1500... Its a bargain! Get in touch with me if your interested.

Above you can see an extra length of box section has been welded on to raise the scuttle and bonnet to clear the engine. The chassis could probably do with some extra triangulation as well.

Steve

The chassis welding is OK as it was done by a fab shop, the owner tacked them top tubes on for extra height.. I reckon a sump chop and lowering the engine would be better, and, like you, if only I had the space!!

I can weld better than that and certainly don't work in a local fabrication firm.

I don't think welding the top rail perfectly is necessary is it? It should still add some stiffness to things. I don't see the problem.
