which distributor to use on redtop when no ecu as the redtop one is wrong!!!

How about going megajolt/Ford Edis - wasted spark route? More efficient and no moving parts other than the trigger wheel which doesnt touch anything.

1.8 8V and then send it to H & H ignitions.
Check out their website. They do a lot of these. They did a great job for me and are not too expensive. Modded dizzy to your state of tune, set of leads and new coil about £180
