Pinto engine for sale...

Due to a pending Zetec upgrade, my trusty Pinto engine is up for sale. It is currently still in my Tiger Cat and can be seen/heard running before I remove it.

It was rebored, gas flowed & ported in 2001, by an engine builder on the South coast by the name of Patterson before being installed in my Cat and has been completely reliable for some 6,500 miles since

Head:
Gas flowed & ported
Kent FR32 cam

Block:
Rebored (circa 1640 - 1660)
Polished crank & lightened flywheel
Clutch (complete) was new when rebuilt
Water pump, thermostat & cambelt were new when built
Crank is fitted with Omex 36-1 trigger wheel for Megajolt
Block is fitted with VR Sensor bracket for Megajolt
Standard Tiger Pinto engine mounts
Tiger shortened sump and pick-up pipe

Fuelling:
Mechanical fuel pump
Maxiflow(?) manifold from Tiger
Weber twin 40's complete with TPS & associated bracket for Megajolt

Exhaust:
Set of 4 Tiger downpipes, complete with heat wrap
Set of (4 off) new upgraded gaskets which I haven't got around to fitting

Ignition:
Will come with coil, distributor & standard Sierra control module NOT the Megajolt as this will be used with the Zetec

Cooling:
Tiger radiator fitted with bleed and drain valves by local radiator supplier
All pipes included (I'm planning to fit a Polo rad with Zetec)

Other ancilliaries fitted to the engine are not for sale as I may be able to use them. This is a great engine and would get a new builder off to a flier if they chose to go the Pinto route.

I'm looking for £650 for the lot as I'd prefer not to split but will be open to very near offers. Please U2U me if interested.
