alloy upright manufacturers

who are the manufacturers that produce alloy uprights, both racing and cortina geometry? i know of raceleda but cant remeber the other/s

Westfield make nice alloy front & rear uprights.

Rally Design also sell some, although they may just be reselling someone elses.

I believe Raceleda don't exist anymore, I think they were bought by MNR but there have been a number of failures reported on their alloy front uprights which you may want to check out before going that route.

The Westfield ones look very good but are expensive and only slightly lighter than the Cortina ones although some people say they address the ackerman issue of the Cortina's and others say the opposite - don't you just love opinions

oh and by the way, Lotus elise uprights are alloy, ebay a good source.

cool what is the price of elise uprights normally? how is the geometry of them? good?

if you look at this hub pic, is the square flange at the back for mounting the brake disc to?

Yes, the flange at the back of the hub is where the brake disc is attached.

yup - the brake disc fits to the square flange (well thats how I did mine but the car isnt on its wheels yet !!!)
