Trackday video overlay

I saw some vids before of a trackday, but with info overlay. It showed RPM, speed etc. What software is availible to overlay such data and what display system do you need?

I think most of the available data logging systems e.g stack, race technology have software that will allow video overlay.

Haven't looked lately but there is probably something cheap that will display basics like rpm and speed over video. You still need a way of logging the data though.

I'm looking for something cheaper than Stack etc. Most display systems datalog, but the software might only support specific data. I thought you could overlay the GPS Performance Box data.

I just thought of something. I'm already making a video and the data that I want is basicly on my display. I just can't read it all the times with the sunlight etc. Do you also have a big laptimer with 3 splits? Such a display seperately shouldn't cost that much. Also an RPM display. It's for a kart. The displays should be big enough so I can read it on the video.

There isn't much space on the steeringwheel so the RPM gauge should be low in height. Preferably with lights so it's easier to see. Anyone know such a gauge for a low price?

Do seperate big laptimers excist which show splittimes aswell?

I've used this a few times:

http://www.trackvision.net/

Had it recommended to me as better and cheaper than RaceTechnology's own video option (I have a DL1).
