Help! I need a new Job.
Hi,
For the second time in a year I have been made redundant.
If anyone hears of a Production Manager's or Works Manager's role in Kent please let me know. (I'm a mechanical engineer so food
processing or electronics is no good).
Many thanks,
John.

how flexible are you with distance ? May help people identify jobs for you.
Good luck finding another job, i suspect we're going to hear this a lot over the next few years. A load of us at work are getting outsourced
with guaranteed 2 years employment, its looking rather attractive at the moment.

Just because you're a Mech Eng doesn't mean that you should rule-out the food industry. If you don't want to work in the industry
(often long hours, short deadlines and 2 days off for Christmas) then fine, but if you think that you're skills aren't suitable then I
disagree.
Plus, while UK manufacturing will continue to decline, people always need to eat and chilled food is difficult to transport to the UK. Hence, your
chances of having a job in 18 month's time are probably better than elsewhere.
