I agree the mounting plates are too thin and too soft material. This needs to be thicker and welded on the inside of the bracket to the tube and not just to the outside as they are supplied.

Hi

The trouble is that the most of these designs have too many welds are to big and heavy and have no where for vibration / flex to take place. Remember there is somthing like 40KG of lift being exerted on a wing when at high speed.

Doesn’t sound good, I’m not even on the road yet and it already looks like I may have problems in the future. I thought MNR had resolved the breakage issue with this new design…
