looks good allthough not personally very keen on the the styling, would prefer something sleeker and more modern. but i guess that would be easily done.

Paul your URL is wrong, heres your pic

It is only a computer generated image though folks.

I do hope that the finished article manages to look substantially the same (classic 60s styling) but addresses the issues which IM(very)HO need sorting.

Roll bar bracing
Where do your legs go ?
Seat angle / width
Why is the steering wheel away down there ?
Those rear coilovers are on a peculiar position.

Really, I'm genuinely not looking to be over critical - the acheivement in getting things this far is phenomenal, but let the man finish the design and take it from there. It should be great.

(Dons flak jacket, but I genuinely wish the project all the best)

I so want this book .......... shame it won't pass IVA / SVA

it has no seat belts on the picture!

(i can see the bits that a seat belt attaches too before someone points it out)

Do you think you can make it for less than 50k?

looks great, can't wait for this book.

I think styling based on old Lotus F1 or FF1600 (?) would be awesome. Lotus type 49 is nice hint hint.

I await progress with anticipation.

Steve.

So shall I do one? Here's one I prepared earlier!
[img]http://
[/img]

I could title it "Creating a Furore" - what do you think???
Although of course mine's not a single seater.

I no longer run Furore Products or Furore Cars Ltd, but would still highly recommend them for Acewell dashes, projector headlights, dominator headlights, indicators, mirrors etc, best prices in the UK! Take a look at http://www.furoreproducts.co.uk/ or find more parts on Ebay, user names furoreltd & furoreproducts, discounts available for LCB users.
Don't forget Stainless Steel Braided brake hoses, made to your exact requirements in any of around 16 colours. http://shop.ebay.co.uk/furoreproducts/m.html?_dmd=1&_ipg=50&_sop=12&_rdc=1

Nope, but I've always wanted one of those that's all!
Headlights in the nose, or out on sticks?

I'm already deciding what engine I want. One page on here, the other on Ebay! There's a bloke on PH with a road legal Lotus 22, with an R1 engine, IIRC, in it. Looks likes a lot of fun.

Any idea what the target weight will be? Sub 400kg?
