Fabbing a chassis? How long?
Just been knocking up some engine mounts and thinking of bumper brackets, along with radius arm brackets, they seem to take up a lot of time with the
hacksaw. Although, I am using 6mm plate....
How long does it take to knock a chassis up these days, presuming I buy a ready cut kit of box section?

How long is a piece of string..
I recon I could do it in a weekend assuming I had atleast 5 packets of dark chocolate hobnobs to power me through the welding smoke!

Chassis
Well I drove my car into the garage in 2004 and drove a new car out of the garage 4 weeks later. New chassis painted and ready.

"How long does it take to build a house?" Your answer depends on about a million things. Is this for fun - or are you under a 16-hr a day
work schedule where you'll be shot if you fail? Are you an artist at fabrication or make a lot of mistakes and have to redo everything 3 times?
Do you have every piece of equipment to make it go smoothly, or just a hacksaw and files?
Seriously, figure 30 minutes per tube end, and probably about the same for each bracket. And that's if everything goes perfectly.
If you're not having fun, what's the point?
