Carbon cycle wings

Ok guys, so my last post i put that my 16" wheels didnt fit under my brackets.

I have found they do actually fit under the brackets, they just dont fit under the cycle wings as they are to slim.

Now i need some new cycle wings, i thaught that carbon fibre ones would be the best option, does anyone no where i can get a pair from for fairly cheap and does anyone have any pictures?

If not carbon fibre, does anybody no if MK do a wider pair?

Trim the sides of the wings down, the tyres will then clear...

A flap wheel does a neat and quick job

OR if you are adventurous, and who of us isn't, you can use Mr. Whippy's "wing widening" technique. It is really not difficult to do a good job. After all, I did it myself on my scuttle, which was much harder than the wings would be.

i dont think those will do the job as i would be using 16" rims and they are for 13" rims

what about a set of Dax ones, they use 15", 16" and 17" wheels as standard (205 wide)
I can measure mine if you later if you need sizes

or if you've got a bit more cash and want real carbon ones you could drop iiyama a u2u

here's one of his pics (nicked from his old posts)

how much do the dax ones cost?

I think carbon fibre ones will look the bees knees aswell so if i get a decent price, say around £100 i would buy those...
