13" or 15" and upgrades
As we get closer to autumb, my head is filling up with ideas of what to do with the car.
First of all i need new wheels, i am torn between the 13" team dynamics pro race and 15" team dynamics pro race, which ones will be the
best? the car is never used on a track and is purely used for fast road use.
Also i am going the purchase the Wilwood Powerlites, do these just bolt straight on in place of the original sierra calipers? and where can i get them
from and how much?
I am going to get it stickered up with some stripes, anyone with any design ideas feel free to post some pictures.
I am going to get my front wishbones re powder coated as they are showing a slight bit of rust........
I am going to buy the MK Grille for the nosecone............
I have just baught the carbon fibre r1 can and i put that on over the weekend, looks ace!!
I need to buy some black exhaust wrap to replace the white stuff i baught not long ago, only becuase the black will set in with the colours of the
car.
The last thing is just have a major clean up of the whole car ready for 2010!!!!

If you are fitting 13" wheels just make sure the Powerlites will fit inside them.
IIRC there was discussion some time ago as to whether 13" would take different (larger) calipers.
No doubt there'll be someone along in a mo to confirm that.

I'd go 13" especially on a BEC. Lighter and better handling and ride, both on and off track. The only reason to go 15" is looks and
thats a personal thing (I prefer the 13's anyway).
RallyDesign do Wilwoods as a kit to fit the Sierra uprights. Go for the solid disc kit on a BEC; you'll never overheat them and they're a
bit lighter. Front are a simple fit (might need a little fetling of the adapter plate). They fit inside most good 13" rims. Go for the Mintex
1144 pads, not the Wilwood SmartPad. Rears are a bit more difficult as the handbrake caliper is tighter in the rim (fit my 13" Compomotive
CXR's ok) and the handbrake design is arguably not the best (but mine works well), and they require a little machining off the diameter of the
hub flange.

Hi,
I have organised a group buy on Wilwood Powerlites with Rally Design.
The group buy is for a 20% discount on Powerlite braking kits. Most of us have already ordered and received our kits, but the deal is running until
the end of the month.
Here's the original thread:

thanks for the offer mate but the brakes were the last thing i was going to do, looking at replacing those just after xmas. Will they fit under the
team dynamics 13" pro race 1.2's ime gunna get, they are the next thing on my list.
I have seen these on MNR's website for £725 loaded with R888's, does this seem a good price or has anyone seen better?
