38DGMS on eBay
NTDWM
Looks good. They dont come up for sale very often at all, its usually the DGAS with auto chokes that do.
Good bolt on power upgrade for pintos running the standard carb.

Both barrels open at the same time unlike the standard carb and it has bigger chokes.
They are apparently good for upto 150BHP on a pinto. (they were fitted as standard on 3.0l V6's)
It will need to be rejetted if its come off a V6.

I was going to put bike carbs on my pinto 2.0. Would one of these be any better/worse? Would save loads of dosh if same/better than bike carbs.
Also what size jets would be best to fit?

The jets that were fitted to mine are here:
http://locostbuilders.co.uk/viewthread.php?tid=33380
And the carb apparently came off an RS2000, so they should be the correct sizes for the 2l pinto.... no guarantees though.
Its certianly a budget horsepower booster compared to bike carbs (Mine cost me £45 delivered with a K&N and a manifold as well!!). I am hoping to
be able to get 140-145bhp out of my pinto with that carb, before needing to go 45DCOEs or throttle bodies..... Like I said I have heard 150bhp being
perfectly acheiveable with the DGAS/DGMS. Maybe someone else will be able to confim it...

No...not just with the carb. Sorry, maybe I should have elaborated more....
With a flowed head, group 1 valves and fast road cam as well I would hope for around 140-145bhp with that carb. Maybe just over 150bhp if bored out to
2.1....
The only reason I didnt go for 45's was that they are £600 that could be better spent somewhere else on the car...
Just fitting the carb to the standard engine ought to give you a resonable power gain...not a clue how much though.
