Polishing wheels
Got a set of 7j Cobra Slots.
Was gonna sand and shine and buff to a super nice fine finish but there are marks/stains?? in the alloy that dont sand out? Should I continue with the
elbow grease or just smooth them down and just paint them?
Any advice most welcome.. Thanks

Don't suppose you could stick one on a set of scales... often wondered what one of those weighs (yes, sad... I know!).

You are missing hardened inserts and special sleeved nuts, you can get the nuts and centre caps from midland wheels, the inserts are available on
ebay. Midland Wheels and
Ebay
I just weighted a 6x13 ET13 Wolfrace and it is 4.5Kgs
I used Autoglym wheel cleaner (I manage a bodyshop so have access to the pro stuff), but your alloys are much better than mine were so I would get
straight in with the 240g, or try wet and dry lubricated with WD40 or similar.

Are cobra wheels the same as wolfrace??? ie the inserts will be the same fitment?? These arrived today and its all new to me so sorry for the silly

What about spigots too?
Also need longer studs I think... Without the inserts there's only a few threads grip..

Got all the bits from mistertee.co.uk
on 1200 wet and dry now.. looks ace! whats the best way to keep them shining without having to take them off every month and autosol them?? Lacquer?
Wax? Clear powder coat?
