Mk indy zx12r electrics

Hi, on taking this car out for a play the first time, the propshaft failed and it destroyed the wiring loom. I have got a new loom for a zx12. Does anyone know what part of the loom I need to modify or have any advice. Thanks, ste

which part of the prop failed? and which part of the loom was damaged?

The prop from engine to gearbox there is a large section of the loom damaged from after the dash to the engine.The generator wires have been ripped off too, but I have a spare.

Try this thread for starters....

Bad luck on the prop failure - I had similar with my last engine (the large nut attaching the propshaft to the engine came undone at top speed!). I was fortunate that my wiring and plumbing was unscathed - it smashed an engine cover instead. Did the prop fail at a universal joint, or did it fail within the tube?

Make sure you install pro-catchers to avoid it happening again in the future!
