Electric Reverse Switch

What type of switch are folks using to actuate their electric reverse systems?

Momentary or latching?

On a hayabusa powered buggy, I wired a main toggle switch with missile launch type cover that arms the reverse relay, then a momentary to nudge you back. Thinking of adding to the wiring so that you can only use reverse when in neutral

Yep, I use a similar system but I use momentary push button to engage the motor.

I wasn't very clear but I have one toggle to arm it and another momentary push button to reverse

I used a latching push button switch, with a small joystick controller. I also connected a relay to the brake light circuit
so when the brakes are applied the motor cuts out.
