Garage floor seal/paint
Ok, so the new house has got a double garage (woohoo!!) but it's the standard dusty concrete. I want to either seal/paint/both the floor but as
you guys are the wealth of all knowledge and quite a few of you will already have done it I'm after some recommendations.
Needs to be able to reduce the amount of dust in there, wipe clean in case of the guaranteed spill and hardwearing as I dont want it chipping off
whenever I drop a spanner.

There is, but it's returns are rubbish  anything with garage and paint comes up. You then spend the next hour looking through posts about what
colour bonnet would look best with ali side panels lol

Some tips on how to, or not to do it !!
The floor must be spotlessly clean, and dust free, and dry
it does need to be a well established floor, so no brand new concrete
I used a sqeegee instead of a paint brush/roller as it settles into all the holes/cracks etc
i did two coats, and they took about 3 days to go off, and that was in July with the garage empty.
If you get the floor wet, it is very slipery, but all things considered, i believe it to be a nicer enviroment and cleaner to work on,

your welcome to one of the spare pots, ive only got it in grey, so dont go and ask for yellow, like your car !!
I dont know how you will do your garage when the car lives in there, i suppose jacking it up and painting around it would surfice, but at this timeof
year i dont know how long it will take to dry ??

Thankfully I've got a small advantage that we're moving house and keeping my current single garage with the rental property so I can get
the garage floor done before I transport all the contents

An empty void to paint will make life so much easier, but will still need ventalation, as the stuff i used stunk rotten !!

It is expensive, but because it is 2 part, it doesn't need to air dry for several days. Comes with an acid etch to prepare the floor 1st. I have
a single garage and used less than half a tin. Gives a really professional finish. It doesn't make me build any quicker though....

Another good point if there is a lot of open floor space, is that the light is reflected off the floor, so in this current period of doomy gloom
british weather, it make the garage brighter
