That is just amazing. How did you learn? Is this what you do full time?

Love the decorative nose grill and the jig used for forming it.
Hand formed aluminium is just so "right" when compared with grp.

Bodies with beautiful curves like that should be used as centrefolds and 'page 3'.

Stunning craftsmanship.

Can't knock the photographer, either - difficult lighting situation, - made the most of it - well done!

Steve.

Ahh its knowing the techniques, and having the right tools, and a lot of experience.

Same goes for any craft / trade.

Just try carefully shaping a bit of 0.5mm thick ally plate with a 7lb sledge hammer, and then try again with a smaller bodywork hammer... You will see and notice the difference even if you are not skilled.

I take my hat off to the likes of TrevD and 907, they are the real craftsmen amongst us.

We can all benefit from their guidance and help.
The trouble is some people just dont take notice of them.

I couldnt work at TrevD's place, even if I had the skills. I would just sit there gawping at all the lovely cars, and end up getting sacked for doing nowt but gawping all day
