To be honest I feel a bit stupid sitting in a sports car but stuck in a queue.

Have you ever driven in Switzerland? Its beautiful, but not very car friendly as a nation. They do manage to keep things moving though which is awesome, the cameras are a bit frustrating though.

Wouldn't it just! You wouldn't get many cretins doing brake tests I reckon

You know, I was driving around for a little over a week in Kent and Hampshire last April. I suppose I was one of those grannies, because I couldn't stop thinking how much better people drive in England than here in Canada, where it's stop go, stop go, all over the place. Or maybe we just weren't in Scotland... yeah, and thanks for the offer of the cars, but I've got too many right now. And that bike is just mental. I'll take the kidneys if you don't mind...

I've noticed the same - roads definitely a lot busier over the last couple of years....I used to do 30000 a year for work and think nothing of it but since y job role changed a year ago I do very little mileage now. If I have to do any longish trips these days I hate it. Out of the groove....

Plus there's no decent roads around Preston/Blackpool that I know of - unless anybody can enlighten me?

Missing the open twisties of South Wales....
